We had glorious still water and no wind. I had to accompany them (by boat) since they are under 18 yrs. They loved it and the instruction and kit was all excellent quality. Instructors are very friendly and obviously extremely competent and experienced. Everything ran to time. We also did a 3 hour coastal kayak. Brilliant family activity. The staff were all super helpful and accommodating. Three of us hadn’t kayaked before. Sam gave clear instruction and put us all at ease. Brilliant two hours paddling around the water. Marcus was really helpful and gave us a warm welcome. He even lent us some of his sun cream to save us walking back up to the car!! I would definitely recommend renting out SUP boards here to explore the hidden parts of the coastline! It was so peaceful and a lot of fun. Verified The best time would definitely recommend Just the best time learning to paddle board, all of us absolute beginners and we would all do this again in a heartbeat. We had so much fun, expertly taught by Marcus and Neil.Verified Kayaking with Salcombe paddleboarding We had an excellent time kayaking up the estuary with Marcus and George. Really good fun. Lots of skills to learn for everyone This was a totally brilliant 2 hours with Zac who was super chilled and very professional.We were lucky to have very calm water and lots of sunshine.No need for a wetsuit in my eyes and shorty suits for my bookclub friends who were new to SUPs. Zac balanced our instruction well and took us to the peaceful pats of the estuary. We all learnt so much in the 2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. 10/10 for Zac and Salcombe Paddleboarding. 10/10 for his headstand and 1/10 for mine!!Verified Highlight of the holiday We all loved our 2 hour paddleboarding session in the estuary . Zac our instructor was friendly , chilled and lots of fun . He made us feel safe and calm with lots of encouragement. We had to re-book this trip as our holiday dates changed due to Covid isolation and Kate was so helpful and reassuring when managing our booking . This was very much appreciated. We had a great time with Salcombe Paddle Boarding and our instructor, Ella, was very helpful and made us feel safe. I've never tried it, but my son and partner have done a bit in the past. Our instructor Marcus was absolutely brilliant from the beginning of our lesson to the end. As a complete beginner I didn't feel under any pressure and even though I didn't get on my feet, I had a very enjoyable time and feel that I'll be able to go back and try again. My partner and son are far more confident and were able to learn a massive amount and loved every minute.
