Salcombe is the perfect place for a sea kayaking adventure. At Salcombe Watersports, incorporating Salcombe Paddleboarding, we run activities for all ages and all abilities – from absolute beginners to experienced kayakers – in a safe, encouraging and peaceful environment.

A sea kayak estuary explorer tour is perfect for those wanting to get out and explore the stunning harbour from the tranquillity of one of our comfortable sea kayaks. You’ll be led by one of our experienced staff members who’ll take you on a journey around the beautiful harbour.

Our tours include as standard:

• Experienced guides, trained in safety rescue skills and first aid
• High-quality kayaks, Xcel wetsuits, waterproof trousers and smocks and Gul buoyancy aids.
• The highest industry standards for guideto pupil ratio
• Lessons led by a fully qualified watersports instructors & guides

Our estuary explorer tours occupy a 2-hour times slot with at least 110 minutes spent out on the water. No prior experience is necessary! Please note that each participant under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their own person 16+; this is so we can pair up kids and ‘adults’ in tandem kayaks.

We have a range of tandem and single kayaks, and your guide will assign craft on the day.
